CNC Machine Operator

CNC Operator Job Description As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating cnc router machines to produce a variety of parts. Will be working with a variety of materials. Responsibilities Operate and fabricate pipes and metal materials using CNC machines. Check parts for physical defects and ensure correct identification according to prints. Load and unload parts from CNC machines. Route and finish parts according to print specifications. Assist team members with lifting and moving heavy parts throughout the day. Wear proper PPE including bump caps, steel toe shoes, and safety glasses. Follow specific work instructions and assembly requirements. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including surfaces, equipment, and floors. Understand and participate in continuous improvement activities using QCDSM boards. Essential Skills General computer knowledge. Ability to read blueprints and work instructions. Previous machine operation experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Experience with saw operation, blueprint reading, measuring, assembly, and fabrication. Why Work Here? Shift Times: 1st shift: 8am - 5pm Mon - Fri 1st shift: 7am - 4pm Mon - Fri 2nd shift: 1pm - 9pm Mon - Fri **$3 shift differential** Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $22.00/hr.
