Electrical Design Engineer

We are the major force in the aerosol valve marketplace today, offering a full line of high quality, low cost vertical action valves, tilt action valves, female valves, metered valves, and bag-on-valves. The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of the Electrical Controls for production assembly equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Creates Electrical Schematics for production assembly equipment;

* Creates PLC programs for production assembly equipment;

* Creates Human Machine Interface screens for production assembly equipment;

* Creates the interface between other devices/systems and the production assembly equipment- (Vision systems, Test equipment, Robots)

* Designs pneumatic control systems for production assembly equipment;

* Processes engineering change orders for existing production assembly equipment;

* Assembles prototype production assembly equipment;

* Troubleshoots/debugs production assembly equipment;

* Provides technical support services to production departments and in other facilities;

* Selects and specifies mechanical, electrical and pneumatic products and components for use in production assembly equipment;

* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION & SKILLS

* Requires a college degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering;

* Good communication and writing skills required;

* Must be well organized and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;

* Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
