Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal parts together using both gas welding and various welding processes. You will fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, and work orders, ensuring high-quality standards. Responsibilities Weld metal parts together using gas welding and other welding processes. Fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, and work orders. Perform thermal cutting and grinding tasks. Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, and increase size of metal parts. Locate and repair cracks using inspection equipment and gas torch. Ensure proper storage of gases. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding on steel. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in steel fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of industrial machine shop operations. Understanding of structural welding techniques. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austell, Georgia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
