HVAC Service Technician Job Description We are seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial settings within the Greater Philadelphia PA Tri-county Region: Montgomery, Delaware. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, be able to troubleshoot issues efficiently, and ensure that all installations and repairs are done in accordance with industry standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in commercial settings. Handle emergency service and repairs for heating and air conditioning systems. Perform preventive maintenance, replacements, and upgrades as needed. Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC issues effectively and efficiently. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with industry standards. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittal sheets. Use hand and power tools proficiently to complete tasks. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in HVAC preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and submittal sheets. Proficient in using hand and power tools. Basic understanding of installation, HVAC systems, and operating control systems. Ability to perform basic trade-related math calculations for proper installation of equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications General understanding of OSHA regulations; OSHA certifications beneficial but not required.
