This firm is seeking a Transportation Civil Engineer with 5–10 years of professional experience to join their team.

Position Overview: The Transportation Civil Engineer will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of a variety of transportation projects. You will lead design efforts, contribute technical expertise, and work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the design of transportation projects, including highways, streets, intersections, and pedestrian facilities.

• Perform field investigations and collect data for traffic studies and roadway assessments.

• Develop detailed plans, drawings, and specifications using engineering software (e.g., MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads).

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including planners, environmental specialists, and construction managers—to ensure project success.

• Prepare project reports, technical documents, and client presentations.

• Participate in community engagement efforts to gather feedback and address public concerns.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.

• Stay informed on advancements in transportation engineering and sustainability practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

• 5–10 years of experience in transportation engineering.

• Strong technical background with proficiency in transportation engineering tools and software.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
