Based at our Marshalltown, Iowa location, you will play a key role in the continued innovation and success of our Keystone High Performance Butterfly Valves product line. Craft, develop, improve products for global customers in energy, chemical, power generation. You will be responsible for developing new and innovative solutions for Keystone High Performance Butterfly valves.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Work collaboratively with other members of the New Product Development Team
- Investigate industry trends and implement new technology
- Perform engineering design calculations and analysis using computer-aided tools
- Create design documentation, specifications, and procedures
- Understand customer, market, and industry requirements
- Recommend and implement process improvements

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or similar engineering discipline or an Associate's degree in a related field and equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in engineering fundamentals with an emphasis in mechanical systems
- Motivated self-starter, initiative driven, and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Ability to create 3D models and 2D drawings
- Basic knowledge of material properties and manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Ability to manage multiple projects of varying lengths and complexity
- Demonstrated technical communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Previous experience as a Design Engineer or similar role
- Familiarity with valves and industrial process equipment
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Lean/ Six Sigma knowledge and/or certification
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
