General Laborer

Job Title: Rebar Shop Laborer

Location: Des Moines

Schedule: 6:30am-2:30pm MondayFriday

Pay Rate: $18$20 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to assist in a rebar shop for a short-term, 4-week project. The role involves unloading rebar from machinery and assisting with the radius bending process. This is a hands-on position requiring teamwork and attention to safety.

• Unload rebar from machines in the shop
• Assist with running rebar through a radius bender
• Perform two-person lifts for heavier rebar pieces
• Handle materials weighing an average of 1015 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 60 lbs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and shop procedures

• Pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs safely
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
• Previous experience in a shop or construction setting is a plus
