Civil Engineer Site Design (2+ Years Experience)

Location: Saratoga Springs, NY

We are a growing civil engineering firm seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with 2+ years of experience in land development and site design to join our Saratoga Springs team. This role offers hands-on project involvement, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil site design plans including grading, drainage, utilities, erosion & sediment control, and roadway layouts
• Assist with site feasibility studies, reports, and permit applications
• Perform stormwater management and hydrology calculations
• Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, and other design disciplines
• Support municipal submissions and respond to agency comments
• Assist with construction phase services as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience in civil site/land development design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Familiarity with NYS codes, local municipal standards, and permitting processes
• EIT certification preferred or ability to obtain
• Strong communication and organizational skills
