En quoi consiste ce poste :

Le Mecanicien de Machine Fixe est responsable de l'exploitation, de la maintenance et de la surveillance des systemes mecaniques et electriques essentiels aux operations du batiment. En tant que membre cle de l'equipe des operations techniques, vous assurez le fonctionnement optimal et securitaire des equipements, contribuant directement a l'efficacite energetique, au confort des occupants et a la fiabilite des installations de JLL. Votre expertise technique garantit la conformite reglementaire et soutient les objectifs operationnels de l'entreprise.

A quoi ressemblera votre quotidien :

• Assurer l'exploitation, la surveillance et l'entretien des systemes de chauffage, ventilation, climatisation (CVC), de refrigeration et de production d'energie

• Effectuer des rondes d'inspection regulieres pour surveiller le bon fonctionnement des equipements et identifier les anomalies

• Repondre aux alarmes et pannes d'equipements, effectuer le depannage et les reparations necessaires

• Effectuer l'entretien preventif et correctif des equipements mecaniques, electriques et de controle

• Consigner les donnees operationnelles, les interventions et les lectures des equipements dans les registres appropries

• Collaborer avec les fournisseurs externes et entrepreneurs pour les travaux specialises

• Assurer le respect des normes de securite, des codes du batiment et des reglementations environnementales

Qualifications requises :

• Certificat de Mecanicien de Machine Fixe classe 2B delivre par la Regie du batiment du Quebec (RBQ)

• Connaissance des systemes de chauffage, ventilation, climatisation, refrigeration et production d'energie

• Capacite a lire et interpreter des plans mecaniques et electriques

• Competences en depannage et resolution de problemes techniques

• Capacite a travailler en rotation (jour, soir, nuit) et en disponibilite pour les urgences

• Bonnes competences en communication ecrite et orale en francais

Qualifications preferees :

• Experience avec les systemes de gestion de batiment (BMS) et d'automatisation

• Connaissance des systemes de controle Honeywell, Johnson Controls ou similaires

• Formation en electricite ou en refrigeration

• Experience dans un environnement commercial ou institutionnel de grande envergure

• Certification en premiers soins et RCR

*Interactions orales et/ou ecrites avec des locataires ou partenaires externes bases a lexterieur du Quebec (par exemple, fournisseurs de services, cabinets davocats, pairs, banquiers, firmes de courtage, firmes danalyse de credit, agences de credits, clientele non-francophone, etc.)

Building Operator 2B JLL

What this job involves:

The Building Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of mechanical and electrical systems essential to building operations. As a key member of the technical operations team, you ensure optimal and safe equipment performance, contributing directly to energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and facility reliability at JLL properties. Your technical expertise ensures regulatory compliance and supports the company's operational objectives.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and power generation systems

• Conduct regular inspection rounds to monitor equipment performance and identify anomalies

• Respond to equipment alarms and failures, perform troubleshooting and necessary repairs

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control equipment

• Record operational data, interventions, and equipment readings in appropriate logs

• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized work

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Class 2B Stationary Engineer Certificate issued by the Regie du batiment du Quebec (RBQ) or equivalent provincial certification

• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and power generation systems

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

• Troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills

• Ability to work rotating shifts (day, evening, night) and be available for emergencies

• Strong written and oral communication skills in French

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and automation

• Knowledge of Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar control systems

• Training in electrical or refrigeration systems

• Experience in large-scale commercial or institutional environments

• First Aid and CPR certification
