Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine custom crate dimensions and structural specs.
- Fabricate heavy-duty crates and skids from the ground up using lumber, plywood, and hardware.
- Operate pneumatic nail guns to cut and assemble materials with precision.
- Pick and stage inventory items from warehouse racks to fulfill specific customer orders.
- Apply blocking, bracing, and cushioning to secure cargo and prevent movement during transit.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished builds match the order manifest and blueprint specs.
- Prepare all shipping documentation, including labels, packing slips, and export stencils.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks to meet daily delivery deadlines.
