Crate Builder

We are seeking a full-time Material Handler I to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks. Primary responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying goods against purchase orders, breaking down pallets with tools, and performing data entry to maintain accurate records. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift 35 lbs., and experience with basic computing software and forklift operation. Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine custom crate dimensions and structural specs.
  
  
• Fabricate heavy-duty crates and skids from the ground up using lumber, plywood, and hardware.
  
  
• Operate pneumatic nail guns to cut and assemble materials with precision.
  
  
• Pick and stage inventory items from warehouse racks to fulfill specific customer orders.
  
  
• Apply blocking, bracing, and cushioning to secure cargo and prevent movement during transit.
  
  
• Conduct quality checks to ensure finished builds match the order manifest and blueprint specs.
  
  
• Prepare all shipping documentation, including labels, packing slips, and export stencils.
  
  
• Load outbound shipments onto trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks to meet daily delivery deadlines.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:
