Location: Newburyport, MA

We are partnered with a New England-based general contractor known for delivering high-quality, complex projects across healthcare, life sciences, higher education, and commercial sectors.

With a strong reputation for collaboration, proactive communication, and hands-on project execution, this team is built to successfully manage technical and fast-paced environments from start to finish.

They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations from pre-construction through closeout.

What You'll Do:

Lead all day-to-day field operations, subcontractor coordination, and site logistics

Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and project teams

Support pre-construction planning, including logistics, phasing, and scheduling strategy

Develop and manage 3-week lookahead schedules and track project milestones

Ensure all work aligns with drawings, specifications, and approved submittals

Oversee quality control, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout

Enforce site safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance

Maintain accurate documentation in Procore and internal systems

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience in commercial construction

Proven ability to manage field operations and subcontractors

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Experience with scheduling, site coordination, and safety management

Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

OSHA 30 Certification (required)

MA Construction Supervisor License (required)

Healthcare project experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

$150,000+ base salary (depending on experience)

Work Environment:

Field-based role with projects primarily in and around Newburyport, MA, with travel as needed.
