Summary:
The Industrial Electrical Operations Manager will oversee estimating, bid management, division scheduling, manpower planning, and operational performance for industrial electrical projects. This role combines preconstruction leadership with financial oversight, operational management, and team leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

As an Industrial Electrical Operations Manager, you will:
  • Lead estimating and bid management activities for industrial electrical construction projects
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contract requirements to prepare competitive and profitable bids
  • Oversee bid submissions, scope analysis, risk assessments, and cost evaluations
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for division financial performance and operational success
  • Manage budgets, labor productivity, backlog forecasting, and project financial reporting
  • Coordinate manpower planning, equipment allocation, and workload scheduling across projects
  • Work closely with field leadership, foremen, and project teams to adjust schedules and operational priorities
  • Provide operational oversight for project execution, safety, quality, and closeout activities
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and project performance
  • Supervise, mentor, and support foremen, electricians, and field personnel
  • Promote accountability, communication, teamwork, and a strong safety culture throughout the division

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical construction, estimating, or operations management
  • Strong background in electrical estimating, bid preparation, and cost analysis
  • Experience managing P&L performance, budgets, forecasting, and operational metrics
  • Knowledge of manpower planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with estimating, operations, and field leadership teams
  • Tennessee Electrical License preferred
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent industry experience considered

Certifications:
  • OSHA safety training or related certifications preferred

Salary: $100K-$120K
