Overview
The Mechanical Engineer PEApplies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Apply standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.
- Sign and seal engineering documents as responsible engineer.
- Analyze, develop, and evaluate systems, and improve or create new projects.
- Design and draft blueprints; visit systems in the field; manage projects.
- Perform work with a high degree of latitude, handle complex issues, and provide leadership, coaching, or mentoring to subordinates.
- Act as a lead or first-level supervisor when necessary.
- Interact directly with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- 4-8 years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge in the subject matter.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent multitasking skills and willingness to tackle various tasks outside of scope when necessary.
