Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Historic Preservation Architect to join a multidisciplinary team of architects, historians, and documentation specialists. Key Responsibilities Develop and present architectural designs aligned with client goals and regulatory standards Conduct detailed assessments of existing structures, identifying deterioration and structural deficiencies Produce technical documentation, reports, and visual representations of findings Utilize tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite for design and documentation Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, preservation standards, and local regulations Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on historic preservation or adaptive reuse Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite Strong understanding of preservation methodologies, materials, and regulatory frameworks Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation Professional licensure preferred but not required
