The Carpentry Maintenance Technician assists in the Maintenance of all buildings including, but not limited to: carpentry, repair and maintenance, preventative maintenance, service calls, and adherence to all safety, park and departmental policies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the overall maintenance of all buildings including Living Shores, attraction buildings, seasonal housing, duplex and bathroom buildings.
  • Evaluates and inspects buildings, siding, structures, roofing, drywall, etc, and provides maintenance when needed.
  • Responsible for planning materials needed for project completion and repairs.
  • Works with Maintenance to assist in building repairs.
  • Evaluates and inspects building plumbing and interior lighting. Provides repairs when needed.
  • Helps to Inspect and repair water meters.
  • Helps to provide winterization to building water systems including seasonal housing.
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed.
  • Communicate updates to supervisor on current work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Other duties as requested

  • Computer Proficiency MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Experience:

  • Must possess 1 year of facilities building maintenance.
  • Previous experience with commercial facilities or amusement parks a plus.

Other:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions and elements including the direct sun with no shade, cold, rain, dust, and all other outdoor weather elements
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, walk, stoop, and bend
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75lbs
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Must possess the physical capabilities necessary to perform the job duties
