Lead, manage, and improve the companys workplace safety and EHS program.

Develop, implement, communicate, and enforce safety policies and procedures.

Maintain regular presence on the manufacturing floor and across facility areas.

Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and facility walk-throughs.

Identify unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, behavioral risks, and process gaps.

Recommend and track corrective actions through completion.

Lead safety meetings, safety committee activity, toolbox talks, and employee safety communication.

Develop and deliver safety training for new and current employees.

Lead or support accident, injury, near-miss, and incident investigations.

Support root-cause analysis, documentation, corrective actions, and follow-up.

Maintain OSHA-related documentation, safety records, inspection reports, training records, incident records, and required safety files.

Support OSHA compliance readiness, including recordkeeping, internal reviews, inquiry response, and inspection preparation.

Partner with production, maintenance, engineering, warehouse, shipping, HR, and management to improve workplace safety.

Support safety programs including lockout/tagout, energy isolation, machine guarding, hazard communication, PPE, forklift/powered industrial truck safety, fire prevention, emergency response, ergonomics, and material handling.

Monitor safety trends and recommend practical improvements.

Encourage timely reporting of unsafe conditions, near misses, injuries, and safety concerns.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Salary Details:

$80,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, certifications, and overall alignment with the role.

Work Week Details:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Some flexibility may be needed based on safety meetings, facility needs, incident response, or operational priorities.

Required Qualifications:

Experience leading or managing workplace safety, occupational safety, EHS, or industrial safety programs.

Experience in manufacturing, machine shop, welding, metal fabrication, industrial, warehouse, distribution, or similar hands-on operating environment.

Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements and practical workplace safety compliance.

Experience conducting safety inspections, safety audits, hazard assessments, and corrective-action follow-up.

Experience leading or supporting accident investigations, near-miss reviews, root-cause analysis, and incident documentation.

Ability to develop and deliver practical safety training for employees, supervisors, and managers.

Strong floor presence with the ability to coach employees and influence safe work practices.

Ability to partner effectively with production, maintenance, engineering, shipping, warehouse, HR, and leadership teams.

Strong documentation, communication, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead safety initiatives while maintaining credibility with both management and floor employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, Safety Management, Engineering, or related field.

OSHA 30, ASP, CSP, SMS, CHST, or similar safety-related certification.

5 Years of experience with machine guarding, lockout/tagout, HazCom, PPE, forklift safety, emergency response, fire prevention, ergonomics, material handling, or warehouse safety.

5 Years of experience responding to OSHA inquiries, supporting OSHA inspections, or maintaining OSHA 300/300A logs.

5 Years of experience improving safety metrics, reducing incident rates, strengthening safety culture, or lowering workers compensation exposure.

5 Years of experience building or improving safety program structure, training cadence, documentation, and accountability systems.
