Woodworker Location: Cokato, MN Compensation: $22.00 per hour - paid weekly Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00am-3:00pm | Monday-Friday Job Type: Temp-to-hire About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Woodworkers for a leading sauna manufacturing company in Cokato, MN. What You'll Do as a Woodworker: Set up and operate wood-sawing machinery Operate drill presses, routers, sanders, planers, and wood nailing machines Read and interpret drawings to determine dimensions, shapes, and specifications Select the best materials and lengths for each job Contribute to departmental quality control efforts Demonstrate consistent initiative to produce high quality work Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures Report unsafe acts, accidents, and near miss incidents Operate equipment only when trained and authorized Maintain clean and organized work areas What You Need to Bring to the Woodworker Role: Must have at least 6 months working in a manufacturing environment Must have experience and be comfortable working with power & hand tools Must have basic math and writing skills and be familiar with a tape measure Must be able to read and understand blueprints/drawings Must be able to lift 75-100 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations Strong attention to quality Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
