Hiring HCI & Cloud Infra Architect in Calgary, Alberta

• Strong experience designing and modernizing HCI and virtualization platforms, not just operating them
• Deep hands-on expertise with Dell EMC VxRail and Client environments
• Proven experience evaluating multiple platform options and presenting recommendations to customers
• Experience leading complex infrastructure migration projects in enterprise environments
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

• Experience assessing or implementing non-lockstep Client alternatives or hybrid strategies
• Exposure to cloud readiness assessments and hybrid-cloud architectures
• Experience in regulated or utility-sector environments
• RFx and vendor technical evaluation experience

• Conduct current-state assessments of existing hardware, virtualization stack, and integrations
• Develop and present multiple solution options with detailed analysis
• Evaluate Client upgrade and transformation paths
• Define end-to-end migration strategies and support execution
• Validate system performance post-migration and oversee decommissioning of legacy systems
• Contribute to developing a five-year infrastructure and data center roadmap
• Support creation of Transition-to-Operations plans and ensure knowledge transfer
