Seaming Expert: Must know how to burn and execute seamless, professional joins. Power Stretching: Must be highly proficient with a power stretcher to ensure a tight, wrinkle-free fit. Tucking & Trimming: Must know how to cleanly tuck edges against baseboards and transition strips. Stairs Experience: Must know how to handle stairs perfectly (cap, wrap, and tuck). Tools: Bringing your own standard hand tools (kicker, trimmer, iron) is a major plus. The Job: Helping a professional general contractor lay carpet in a residential home.
