Lead Carpenter (West Bridgewater) compensation: 32-50 an Hour Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary THIS POSITION WILL BE IN-TRAINING WITH CURRENT LEAD FOR 90 DAYS- Starting at $32-38 an hour and eligible for more after 90 day training We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the building/remodeling industry and possess a comprehensive skill set that includes various carpentry techniques. As a Lead Carpenter, you will perform and oversee projects, ensuring quality workmanship while leading a team of carpenters in executing tasks efficiently and effectively. Duties Supervise and coordinate carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including but not limited to remodeling, decks, basement finishing, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, framing, etc. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and specifications. Build and assemble structures such as framing, siding, and cabinetry with precision and attention to detail. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to industry standards. Train and mentor junior carpenters on best practices and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to safety regulations. Skills Proven experience in the building/remodeling industry with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficient in framing, finish work, deck installation, cabinet installation, and remodeling techniques. Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in building and assembling various structures with attention to detail. Knowledge of plumb, level, and square principles in carpentry work. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site as they arise.
