Skilled Carpenter Wanted Jeff's Carpentry compensation: $25-$40/h to start based on experience. 1099 employment type: job title: Skilled Carpenter **Jeff's Carpentry is looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team.** We are looking for someone with a wide variety of general carpentry skills from frame to finish. The right person should take pride in clean, quality work, be reliable, and be willing to go where they are needed, mainly around the South Shore and Bristol County on different types of jobs. Daily hours May differ depending on work needed for the day, but will average 32 to 38 hours per week. Personal time off not a problem when notice is given. This position is a good fit for someone who can work independently when needed but also understands the importance of taking direction, following jobsite instructions, and working as part of a team. Also someone who will grab a broom instead of stand around or look at their phone while working. **Responsibilities include:** * Finish carpentry work * Interior and exterior trim * Decking, framing, repairs, and general carpentry * Occasional siding and roofing repairs * Jobsite prep and cleanup * Following instructions from the lead carpenter or project manager * Helping wherever needed to keep the job moving **Ideal candidate should have:** * Experience in finish carpentry and general carpentry * Reliable transportation * Basic carpentry tools * Strong work ethic * Ability to take direction without issue * Willingness to work on different types of projects * Attention to detail * Dependability and a good attitude **Pay:** Currently 1099 without benefits, but may change.
