Carpenter Lead

Carpenter Lead (Millers Falls) Obear Construction Company Inc compensation: $60,000-$80,000 pending experience employment type: experience level: senior level job title: Carpenter Lead Obear construction is currently seeking a full-time Carpenter Lead in the western Massachusetts area. This full-time position will work closely with the Owner to complete assigned tasks and oversee laborers . The right candidate will have experience in job site management, material coverage, frame to finish carpentry, among various other mixed tasks. This applicant will still be wearing a tool belt, so a proper balance of carpentry and management is expected. This role will not be stationary, and travel to job sites can be upwards of 40 minutes from our office located in Montague, Ma. To thrive in this position, ideal candidates will possess the following skills/aptitude 7-10 years residential and commercial frame to finish work Proven track record of managing projects within given timeline and budget Historically accurate remodeling and restoration Strong communication skills and able to build comradery among construction crews Comfortable with technology, plans/blueprints, and minor admin work Willing to adapt to our procedures and work processes and able to work independently or as a team. Preferred candidates will possess the following certifications OSHA 10 (Required) Drivers License (Required) Unrestricted CSL (Preferred) RRP and/or moderate risk de-leading (Preferred) We offer competitive compensation with room for improvement based on experience.
