A well-established pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) erector is seeking an experienced PEMB Estimator to join their team . This is an outstanding opportunity to join a respected organization with a strong reputation for quality, long-term client relationships, and successful delivery of commercial, industrial, and specialty metal building projects throughout the United States. They are seeking a motivated estimating professional who can independently manage bids, accurately price projects, and bring deep expertise in PEMB systems and preconstruction. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Review project drawings, specifications, bid documents, and contract requirements Prepare complete and accurate estimates for pre-engineered metal building projects Perform quantity takeoffs and material pricing for PEMB packages, structural steel, and related components Utilize proprietary PEMB Software to design, price, and generate accurate building proposals Develop labor, equipment, freight, erection, and subcontractor pricing Analyze project logistics, scheduling requirements, and constructability concerns Identify scope gaps, exclusions, clarifications, and project risks Coordinate with internal engineering, project management, fabrication, and erection teams Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations Prepare bid proposals, value engineering options, and budget pricing Participate in client discussions, bid reviews, and preconstruction meetings Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and market pricing trends QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of estimating experience focused on pre-engineered metal buildings Direct experience estimating PEMB fabrication and erection projects Strong understanding of PEMB systems, anchor bolt plans, secondary framing, cladding systems, and erection sequencing Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other construction estimating tools Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Experience working directly with owners, general contractors, engineers, and internal project teams COMPENSATION: Base Salary: $90,000 to $120,000 DOE + Bonus Performance-based bonus opportunity In-office work environment Long-term growth with an established PEMB fabricator/erector based in Kansas City FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION - APPLY TODAY! ... ...
