Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project ManagerTowson, Maryland | Civil Infrastructure | Full-Time | HybridMy client is expanding its civil engineering group and is seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to join their Towson, MD office. A flexible hybrid schedule, strong work-life balance, and competitive compensation package are all part of the offering.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and contribute to hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for transportation and municipal infrastructure projects.Produce and review calculations, technical reports, design plans, and permitting documentation for stormwater management, drainage systems, culverts, open channels, bridge hydraulics, and erosion & sediment control.Secure approvals from state and local regulatory agencies.Support the preparation of design documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.Collaborate with multidiscipline design teams and coordinate project tasks across disciplines.Participate in meetings with clients, public agencies, and project partners.Conduct QA/QC reviews following internal and client-driven standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Water Resources focus preferred).7+ years of experience in water resources engineering, including plan and report production.Proficiency with common hydrology/hydraulics modeling tools (e.g., storm drainage, SWM, floodplain, bridge modeling).Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland or Virginia (additional southeastern states a plus).Experience using MicroStation/OpenRoads or comparable CADD platforms.Strong organizational skills and excellent written/verbal communication.What My Client OffersHybrid work schedule supporting work-life balance.A supportive culture grounded in collaboration, integrity, and technical excellence.Opportunities for continued professional development and advancement into leadership.Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, which may include:Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchShort- and long-term disabilityLife insurancePaid holidays and PTOProfessional training, certification support, and career growth resourcesRelocation assistance for well-qualified candidates
