How you will make an impact:
As a Grade 5 Electrician at Crane Currency, you will play a critical role in keeping our manufacturing operations running safely, reliably, and efficiently. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems across all areas of manufacturing. You will work hands-on with advanced equipment while supporting preventative maintenance, responding to urgent trouble calls, and contributing to project work. Your experience and leadership will also help develop other technicians and strengthen the overall maintenance team.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment across manufacturing operations
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment failures, including off-shift and emergency calls
- Diagnose and repair electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, P&IDs, and blueprints to support accurate repairs and installations
- Lead and support troubleshooting efforts on production equipment to minimize downtime
- Mentor and train lower-grade electricians and technicians
- Support project planning, preparation, and execution in collaboration with supervision and engineering
- Adhere to all safety policies, electrical codes, and safe work practices while maintaining a clean and organized work area

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial or production experience
- Massachusetts Electrician's Journeyman's License
- At least one year of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- Strong troubleshooting, fault analysis, and problem-solving skills
Experience troubleshooting 480VAC three-phase motor control systems and VFDs
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams

The salary range for this role is $41.00 - 48.00 hourly. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
