Position Summary The Senior Geotechnical Project Manager will lead and deliver complex geotechnical and construction quality assurance projects across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and missioncritical sectors. The position is handson and clientfacing, combining technical oversight, team leadership, and business development support. This role offers significant independence, visibility, and the opportunity to directly influence project outcomes and office performance. Key Responsibilities Lead geotechnical and construction quality assurance projects from proposal through completion Serve as the primary client contact, managing expectations, scope, schedule, and budget Review geotechnical reports, field data, and testing results for quality, accuracy, and constructability Provide technical guidance to field staff, engineers, and inspectors Coordinate project staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation Support proposal development, fee estimates, and client presentations Mentor and supervise junior engineers and field personnel Interface with contractors, owners, and design teams to resolve site challenges in real time Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Professional Engineer (PE) license NJ preferred; EIT candidates with strong local experience will be considered 8+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and/or CQA Proven experience managing multiple active projects simultaneously Strong understanding of field operations, reporting, and construction coordination Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with aggressive schedules Local or regional market knowledge is a must have.
