Airport Maintenance Person - Laborer

Duties: Under supervision of the Airport Manager or designee, assist in maintaining airport grounds, structures, and facilities. Repair and maintain runways, taxiways, and other paved areas. Paint lines and numbers; inspect, maintain, and repair runway and taxiway lights. Operate and maintain a variety of airport motor equipment including but not limited to snow plows, jeeps, fire trucks, cars, trucks and other equipment. Provide routine vehicle maintenance including but not limited to greasing and changing motor oil. Perform building maintenance duties such as painting, cleaning, repairing locks, and grounds- keeping duties such as cutting grass, landscaping, sweeping, removing snow, and other related duties. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicant must possess a High School diploma or equivalency; knowledge of maintenance and equipment operation; a Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License; a minimum of five (5) years' facilities maintenance experience; and the ability to obtain a Massachusetts Hoisting License within six months of hire.
