General Laborer

Start your new career as a General Laborer with MAU at our client in Carrollton, GA. As a General Laborer, you will support production operations by preparing, trimming, packaging, and inspecting food products in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We Offer:

• Pay of $15.00 per hour
• First Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:45 AM - 6:30 PM
• Two Saturdays per month required (same shift hours)
• Temp-to-hire opportunity
• Overtime required and available

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to lift items over 50 lbs frequently
• Experience working in cold, wet, or warm environments
• Ability to stand or move for extended periods
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and USDA regulations preferred
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and a flexible schedule
• Basic computer or electronic device skills (occasionally used)

What You'll Do as a General Laborer:

• Trim meat products to specification
• Load product onto tables for trimming
• Remove waste to maintain a clean work area
• Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness
• Operate equipment to cut, slice, bag, and seal products
• Load product on racks and move to cooking areas
• Inspect products for quality and compliance
• Report irregularities to supervisors or QA
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Open cooked bags, monitor machinery, and perform final packaging
• Inspect and verify weights and labels
• Observe metal detectors and report any irregularities
• Maintain clean and safe work conditions
• Follow plant-wide safety and food safety procedures
