HVAC Maintenance Mechanic

Healthcare Facility | Full-Time (1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, M–F)

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to support facilities engineering operations in a healthcare environment. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure safe, efficient facility performance. 

 Responsibilities: 

• Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems 
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system issues 
• Complete work orders and update tasks in CMMS (mobile device) 
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs), inspections, and rounds 
• Respond to facility issues and emergency repairs 
• Review vendor work and support project activities 
• Maintain logs, documentation, and compliance standards 
• Ensure safe, clean mechanical and work areas 

Qualifications 

Required: 

• 5+ years of maintenance technician experience (institutional preferred) 
• Experience with HVAC systems and building equipment 
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics 
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills 
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work 

Preferred: 

• HVAC certification or license 
• Experience with CMMS systems 
• Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems 

Salary:

• $33 - $36 hourly
