This versatile role combines expert painting techniques with general handyman responsibilities, ensuring that residential and multi-unit properties are maintained, renovated, and beautifully finished. As a key contributor, you will bring spaces to life through color, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, while also handling a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to keep properties in top condition. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and applying primer or sealant as needed Execute residential and multi-unit painting projects using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment with precision and safety. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute renovation and restoration projects Perform drywall repair, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and masonry work to enhance property aesthetics Install fixtures such as lighting, switches, outlets, cabinetry, and other hardware components during remodeling or renovation projects. Conduct general maintenance tasks including carpentry repairs, concrete finishing, framing, welding, and masonry work on construction sites or in occupied spaces. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed while adhering to safety standards on construction sites. Experience Proven experience in residential and multi-unit painting projects with a strong understanding of color theory and finishing techniques Hands-on experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math calculations for project planning. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and experience working on active construction or renovation sites. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels along with power tools including airless sprayers and welding equipment. Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (trim framing), masonry (stucco), plastering, restoration work, fixture installation, and industrial painting is highly desirable. Prior handyman experience covering diverse maintenance tasks like caulking, renovation work, concrete finishing, masonry repairs or general upkeep is preferred.
