Preferred Skills

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Perform regular maintenance, oil changes, and mechanical repairs on engines and systems
  • Manage and track shop work orders, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory
  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
  • Adapt to a variety of tasks to help keep the operation running smoothlyExperience in custom fabrication or design projects
  • CDL or ability to operate trucks and heavy equipment (a plus)
  • Familiarity with asphalt or construction equipment
  • Basic drafting, sketching, or CAD software experience (a plus)
  • Fluent English with Spanish Speaking (a plus)

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance, oil changes, and mechanical repairs on engines and systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Assist in brainstorming and designing new equipment solutions to improve productivity
  • Fabricate, modify, and repair trucks, trailers, and specialty equipment
  • Collaborate with field crews to understand operational needs and turn ideas into functional builds
  • Manage and track shop work orders, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory
  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
  • Adapt to a variety of tasks to help keep the operation running smoothly
Qualifications
  • Experience with diesel engines, small engines, and hydraulic systems
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical repair, fabrication, or related trade (preferred)
  • Creative problem solver who enjoys building and improving equipment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage time efficiently
  • Strong welding, cutting, and metal fabrication skills
  • Ability to read diagrams, plans, and equipment manuals
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
