Who are we looking for?

We're seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our Water team in Hyannis, Massachusetts, where you'll play a key role in delivering impactful water, wastewater, utility, and infrastructure projects throughout the region. You'll be an integral member of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, contributing to projects from early planning through detailed design and construction. In this role, you'll support and prepare technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates, and permitting packages, while also helping to shape project delivery strategies, job management plans, and quality assurance processes that keep work moving efficiently and on budget.

As a Project Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with CAD designers to develop high-quality design and construction documents, conduct field investigations and condition assessments to identify process needs and practical solutions, and contribute to environmental studies, specifications, and construction schedules. You'll also support pricing, scoping, and marketing efforts for new and existing clients, helping position projects for success.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

* Client & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.
* Contract Management: Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.
* Engineering Inspections: Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
