About the Position

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team in the following offices: Peachtree Corners, GA; Atlanta, GA; Kennesaw, GA; Savannah, GA; Columbia, SC; Jacksonville, FL; Huntsville, AL; Mobile, AL; Denver, CO; Honolulu, HI.

The ideal candidate will bring 4–8 years of experience in electrical engineering design with exposure to lighting systems, and related electrical projects. Must be eager to continue growing technically within a collaborative team environment.

The engineer will work alongside senior technical leaders and multidisciplinary teams on projects across multiple geographies, gaining hands-on experience in medium-voltage distribution, grounding systems, and airside electrical infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to expand technical expertise, increase project responsibility, and continue developing within the electrical engineering field. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting projects through multiple phases of design and construction.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
  • 4–8 years of experience in electrical design, utility, or aviation infrastructure projects
  • EIT certification required; PE license or progress toward licensure strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars (e.g., AC 150/5340 series), ICAO standards, or electrical design criteria preferred
  • Experience or exposure to constant current regulator (CCR) systems, series lighting circuits, duct banks, grounding systems, and power distribution systems preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Civil 3D; familiarity with airfield lighting design tools is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams and support project deliverables across multiple assignments
  • Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and willingness to learn from senior engineers and project managers
  • Ability to manage priorities, multi-task, and produce high-quality technical work in a fast-paced environment
