Open PositionsWe are hiring for two in-person roles at our studios in Truckee, CA and Steamboat Springs, CO:
Project Architect Level IIWe are seeking a licensed architect who wants hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful project involvement not just production tasks.
Salary: $100,000 $130,000 (based on experience) Experience Required: 6+ years of professional experience
Project Architect Level IIIWe are intentionally developing the next generation of leadership within our firm. This role is ideal for a licensed architect who wants to make an impact and have long-term influence.
Salary: $120,000 $140,000 (based on experience) Experience Required: 8+ years of professional experience
What You'll DoLevel II
- Manage project phases from schematic design through construction administration
- Contribute to design direction
- Work directly with clients and consultants
- Lead technical development of drawings and detailing in ArchiCAD
- Collaborate in small teams (typically 23 people per project)
Level III (all of the above, plus)
- Lead high-end custom residential projects from concept through construction
- Guide design direction and mentor junior team members
- Stay deeply connected to design while maintaining project leadership
- Gain exposure to firm strategy and long-term business planning
Both roles require:
- Licensed architect (Level II: 6+ years experience / Level III: 8+ years experience)
- Strong residential design and technical execution skills
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD and construction documentation
- Demonstrated experience leading projects and client relationships
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Level III also requires:
- Interest in long-term leadership development within a boutique firm
