Plant Electrician

PLANT ELECTRICIAN - GEORGIA-PACIFIC, LEOMINSTER, MA

LOCATION
- Leominster, MA

OVERVIEW
- Join the Dixie cutlery manufacturing team to maintain, support, and troubleshoot production, auxiliary, and facility electrical systems to maximize uptime and support safe operations.

HOURS & PAY
- Day and overnight shifts available; some weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- Starting pay: $28.00 per hour and up (depending on experience)
- Must follow PPE and safety rules

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Install electrical equipment per OSHA and National Electrical Safety Code
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical equipment and circuits
- Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance to improve reliability
- Support planning, upgrades, and equipment startups for projects
- Maintain accurate labor, PM, and service order records in MP2 (CMMS)
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and manage time to meet production/quality goals
- Work independently and collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read/process instrumentation and electrical drawings
- Experience with ControlLogix, DeviceNet, ControlNet
- Experience with 480V motors
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic process equipment
