Pipefitter Journeyman

Position Summary

E. Amanti & Sons is seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems for heating, cooling, steam, water, and process systems

- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings

- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld pipe according to project requirements

- Install valves, hangers, supports, and related piping components

- Test piping systems for leaks and proper operation

- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on job sites

- Operate hand tools, power tools, threading machines, and welding equipment

- Ensure all work complies with local codes and OSHA standards

Qualifications

- Massachusetts licensed Pipefitter journeyman with demonstrated commercial experience

- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills

- Welding and pipe threading experience preferred

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

- Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
