Location: Goldsboro, N.C. Travel Required: N/AReports To: Project Manager Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly Job DescriptionRole and Responsibilities1. Support the development of power distribution schematics, control schematics and wiring diagrams based on Project Managers guidance, specifications and similar system designs2. Participate in producing design submittals and device selection activities for projects3. Coordinate with designers and manufacturing groups to support completion of schematic and wiring diagrams. Participate in equipment pre-testing, factory testing and field commissioning tasks4. Assist in the development of test procedures for and support commissioning steps such as factory and field test energization, transfer trip, train start testing and short circuit.5. Support software engineering activities from development through field installation and troubleshooting.6. Work with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Customer Specifications and Manufacturing to assist in the development of product drawings to meet specifications7. Coordination between design, engineering and plant8. Aid in the selection of Material for the product and update Bills of Material as required9. Project schedule monitoring10. Liaison to the plant and assisting plant personnel as assigned11. Interface with Suppliers as necessary12. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Required- Strong knowledge of and a proven background working with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams- Proficiency with use of MS Office SuiteQualifications: Highly Preferred- Related degree in electrical systems components- Minimum of 5 years' experience with the Total Power Group (TPG) in a position of technical capacity or equivalentSkills:- Effective verbal and written communication skills - Ability to successfully prioritize work and multi-task to meet work deadlines- Be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision- Capable of building relationships with customers and TPG associates, and to operate as an individual contributor and as part of a teamGeneral Physical Demands & Safety Awareness:
