Custom Machine Builder - 1st Shift Custom Machine Builder - 1st Shift Direct Hire | $24-29/hr (based on experience) Build complete, one-of-a-kind machines from the ground up in a clean, organized shop. This is hands-on, custom work not repetitive assembly line production. Why This Role Stands Out Work on unique, custom-built machinery Clean, efficient, and well-managed shop environment Hands-on training with opportunities to grow Full benefits starting upon hire Supportive, team-focused culture What You'll Do Assemble custom machines using blueprints and schematics Build and integrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Perform fit-up, alignment, and final assembly work Complete basic electrical wiring tasks Operate hand tools, power tools, cranes, and shop equipment Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with engineering to resolve them What We're Looking For Experience with custom machinery or equipment assembly Strong blueprint reading skills Background in mechanical assembly Basic electrical knowledge Solid problem-solving skills Preferred (not required): Welding experience Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge Experience with mills or lathes Forklift or crane operation Schedule Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hugo, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
