Our firm is representing a leading local manufacturer seeking a dependable, hands-on Product Sample Maker. This position is a vital role for a true doer who will produce high-quality concrete and epoxy product samples for customer approval, product development, and production support. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment. You will manage the entire sample creation process from measuring and mixing raw materials to finishing, polishing, and packaging the final product. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Measure, mix, and pour concrete and epoxy samples according to exact product specifications. Stain and seal concrete samples using a variety of specialized finishing techniques. Safely operate hand and power tools to cut, grind, finish, and polish sample pieces. Prepare production molds, forms, and required materials for daily sample fabrication. Inspect all finished samples to ensure total compliance with quality and accuracy standards. Fill, package, and prepare completed customer orders securely for shipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop area while adhering to all safety procedures. Assist in other production departments as necessary to meet facility deadlines. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Professional Background: Previous experience in concrete, epoxy, construction, manufacturing, or fabrication is preferred. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Technical Skills: Proven ability to safely use hand tools and power tools, read tape measures, and follow strict technical instructions. Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail with an absolute focus on precision and product quality. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, bend, and stand for extended periods throughout the day in a shop environment. Work Ethic: Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently or collaborate effectively as part of a production team. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position operates inside a manufacturing and shop environment. Daily work involves regular exposure to concrete dust, epoxy materials, machinery, and production equipment.
