Service Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled field service technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing doors and performing MIG wire feed welding on galvanized, steel hollow metal door frames. Your work will primarily be in the field, where you will weld on doors and hinges, install new doors, upgrade existing systems, and install new systems. Additionally, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing systems as needed. You will handle 3-5 jobs per day, with clients including schools, hospitals, retail stores, and restaurants. This position includes a customer-service aspect, and experienced individuals will have a fast-track to internal growth and promotions. Responsibilities Install doors and perform MIG wire feed welding on galvanized, steel hollow metal door frames. Weld on doors and hinges, and install new doors. Upgrade existing systems and install new systems. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing systems as needed. Handle 3-5 jobs per day. Provide excellent customer service to clients in various industries, including schools, hospitals, retail stores, and restaurants. Essential Skills Experience installing metal doors. MIG wire feed experience. Welding experience on hollow metal door frames and galvanized steel. Customer service experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Troubleshooting skills. Ability to read blueprints. Experience in field service work. Low voltage installation skills. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
