Pay: $21/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Start Date: Monday, June 1

Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Apprentice Electrician for a project in Stockdale, Texas. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have at least 3 years of electrical experience working in commercial or industrial environments.

The Apprentice Electrician will work directly with a Journeyman Electrician on-site performing piping installation, conduit work, and general electrical duties related to the project.

Responsibilities

Assist Journeyman Electrician with daily electrical tasks
Install and bend conduit and piping
Pull wire and assist with terminations
Read and follow blueprints and electrical layouts
Maintain tools, materials, and clean work areas
Follow all job site safety procedures and OSHA standards
Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
Support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of electrical experience required
Must have active Texas Apprentice Electrician License/Registration through TDLR
Experience working under supervision of a licensed Journeyman Electrician
Commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred
Experience with conduit bending and piping installation required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor job site conditions
Reliable transportation to Stockdale, TX
Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM
Must follow all Texas electrical licensing and safety regulations
OSHA 10 certification is a plus
Must have their own PPEs - Steel Toes, Hard Hat and Tools required to do the job.

Texas Apprentice Requirements

In accordance with Texas regulations, applicants must:

Be registered as an Apprentice Electrician with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
Work under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician
Follow all applicable state and local electrical codes and safety requirements
