Turner & Townsend is seeking a qualified Project Manager - Traffic Engineering to support the client's Design Studio in conducting traffic analysis and planning for the development and design of new EV charging facilities. This role will partner closely with the client's Operational Excellence Manager to deliver efficient, data-driven design recommendations that enhance site performance and user experience. Responsibilities: Responsible for identifying congestion points.Optimize site layouts and apply advanced traffic modeling techniques using industry-standard simulation tools such as VISSIM or comparable platforms.Provide critical metrics, insights, and feedback to inform and refine design standards.Play a key part in establishing a scalable traffic control review framework, with the expectation of supporting the rollout and adoption of standardized practices across the broader organization.Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilizedEnsure application of best practice on all projectsProduction of formal project status reports and other reports as requiredMonitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctlyManage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviewsManage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communicationsIndependent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliersClient management - assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunitiesStrategic Thinking - provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients' objectives and business objectivesKnowledge management - ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is capturedProcess improvement - Identify ways to improve internal systems and processesSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.Minimum 5 plus years of relevant experienceStrong background in traffic engineering or transportation planning, with demonstrated experience translating analytical findings into actionable design solutions and contributing to process and standards development in a collaborative project environment. Strong organizational and management skills - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader teamEffective presentation skillsProficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management toolsStrong communication skills.Additional InformationThe salary range for this full-time role is $130K-$160K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
