We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Reno, NV, a city renowned for its beautiful landscapes, outdoor recreational activities, and thriving arts scene. This role involves overseeing commissioning activities and ensuring all equipment and systems are installed and functioning according to specifications. The position offers flexibility with remote work and travel opportunities. Responsibilities Possess general knowledge of all building trades and specific knowledge of mechanical, piping, or electrical trades. Oversee Commissioning Specialist and APM Commissioning staff, providing training for career advancement. Assist in developing commissioning scope and writing commissioning plans. Review Subcontractor Exhibit A scope of work for commissioning to ensure adequacy for project needs. Train site teams and subcontractors in using the CxAlloy Commissioning database. Develop commissioning databases for projects, set up checklists, provide user access permissions, and manage data importation. Perform commissioning audits on project sites to evaluate site team and subcontractor performance. Generate commissioning status reports and provide feedback on deficiencies. Manage and execute commissioning checklists and equipment status in the database. Engage subcontractors to provide startup reports, test reports, and spare parts lists. Lead on-site commissioning meetings and assist in developing the commissioning schedule. Attend pre-construction meetings and lead discussions on commissioning roles and responsibilities. Be on-site for equipment verification during delivery, inspect for damage, and ensure receiving checklists are completed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in CxAlloy, word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications. Knowledge of scheduling applications is a plus. Must have P6 experience and data center scheduling projects. Experience as a lead project manager or commissioning manager on construction projects is required. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture is preferred. Experience managing all disciplines for commissioning projects. Experience setting up at least two CxAlloy Commissioning databases for all disciplines. Assisted in and maintained written commissioning plans on at least two projects. Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment and has a passion for collaboration and professional development. Job Schedule 10 days on, 4 days off. On the job site. All travel covered, mileage for up to 6 hours commute at 72.5 cents/mile. Per diem expenses covered monthly if a camper/apartment is needed, for example, $3100/month.
