Westaff is looking for Engineering Technicians in West Boylston, MA for an Immediate Start! ocation: West Boylston, MA Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm Pay: $19-$34/hr DOE Westaff is hiring hands-on Development Engineering Technicians to support Product Development Engineers with building, testing, debugging, and documenting prototype systems. Job Duties Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/mechanical prototypes Follow engineering docs or verbal instructions; maintain clear lab notes Create simple sketches/drawings when needed Assemble circuits, mechanical parts, and full prototype systems Suggest improvements to build/test processes Set up and run test fixtures Use and maintain power tools and precision tools Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis Help guide small groups of techs to meet project goals Keep prototype areas, tools, and equipment organized Assist with updating build/test procedures Qualifications Strong communication and problem-solving skills High school diploma; technical/trade school a plus Skilled with precision tools and metrology equipment 5+ years in a development environment; leadership experience a bonus Comfortable with engineering terminology Proficient with Excel and Outlook Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Kinetic a plus) Highly organized and detail-oriented Benefits for working with Westaff: Weekly Pay!
