Facility Manager / Electrical Technician

Our client is the premier reginned mote supplier in the United States, operating a specialty cotton opening and cleaning facility on a historic farm just outside Greenwood, Mississippi. The company processes gin motes from cotton gins across the US cotton belt into high-quality reginned fiber for the nonwovens, yarn spinning, and bleaching industries. The Facilities Manager will oversee all electrical and mechanical maintenance across a specialty textile mill and reginning facility on one of Mississippi's most historic cotton farms. The right candidate is a self-motivated, skilled electrical technician who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment, is comfortable being the go-to person when things go wrong, and genuinely wants to live and work in rural Mississippi. Responsibilities: Oversee all electrical and mechanical maintenance across the textile mill and reginning facility Troubleshoot and maintain textile electrical motor control systems including Trutzschler equipment Manage utilities across both facilities Lead teams of 3-4 during major repairs and maintenance projects Respond to plant emergencies after business hours Ensure consistent, reliable uptime across all production equipment Required Qualifications: Motor control electrician with proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain textile equipment Manufacturing experience - ideally in a fiber, cotton, or nonwovens environment Strong mechanical aptitude alongside electrical skills Ability to lead small teams during major maintenance events Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and after-hours emergency response Preferred: Trutzschler equipment experience Textile blow room background Experience in a maintenance manager or facilities director role Cotton gin or short staple fiber processing background Compensation & Benefits: $100,000 base salary or commensurate with experience Full housing provided Company 4WD truck + fuel Access to hunting and recreation on the property Matching 401K BlueCross BlueShield health insurance (employer pays majority of premium) Vision and Dental Life insurance (double salary) Long and short-term disability Generous vacation policy All Candidates must be able to provide work related references.
