Major Duties: This is not an all-inclusive list
As a UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), GS-1910-11, you will:
Responsible for the integrion process to determine a new maintainer's proficiency and corresponding maintainer designion.
Oversees the initial integrion counseling event th includes but is not limited to the Aircrew Maintenance Training Program (AMTP), hangar oriention, local area oriention, basic expections, and TUASOF responsibilities.
Executes and manages the Commanders Aviion Maintenance Training Program and the Commanders Aviion and Standardizion Program for UAS Crewmembers.
Trains and evalues all UAS Air Crew Member (ACM) for the Crew Chief Training Program (CCTP).Responsible for progression, currency and sustainment of ACM's.
Develops Critical Task List (CTL) for Army Military Occupional Specialty (MOS) in supported units.
Ensures all tasks on the CTL's are up to de and in line with current equipment and Unit Mission Essential Task List (METL).
Serves as the primary AMTP trainer and evaluor for the TUASOF.
Acts as the advisor to unit Commanders on the management of the AMTP and maintenance level of unit members.
Trains and evalues crewmembers in the following areas Aircraft Notebook User Training, TAMMS-A,CPC Training, Compressed Gas Cylinder Training, Electrical Hazards, Environmental/Spill Response, AGSE.
Trains and Evalues basic aviion maintenance fundamentals, basic electronics training, and electronic and mechanical maintenance of UAS.
Directs on-the-job training and arranges for formal training of new employees or crewmembers.
Responsible for the safe execution of all MOS specific flight line operions necessary to meet mission requirements for the applicable UAS assigned to the TUASOF.
Responsible for all flight line operional support to include Site support coordinion, generor and vehicle fueling operions, site maintenance, work orders, runway lighting supplies, maintaining the crash kit, FOD prevention, runway maintenance and other support tasks as directed.
Ensures daily FOD (Foreign Object Debris) walk is conducted to clear large rocks, tools, and other debris th would cree a hazard to operions.
Ensures the unmanned aircraft is flight worthy and is current on maintenance servicing and inspections.
Operes light utility motor vehicles, up to two and a half ton, to transport self and others to worksites th are remote from the immedie shop facility, between installion airfields, or emergency repair sites when required.
Assists the Safety Officer with offsite emergency/recovery operions.
Responsible for the preparion and management of forms and records required to manage maintenance, control the use, and report warranty actions and deficiencies on UAS and associed ground support equipment.
Serves as the Primary Point of Contact for the notificion, reporting, and implemention of all Aviion and Ground Safety messages as they pertain to the assigned TUASOF equipment.
Responsible for providing accure maintenance requirement forecasts of upcoming inspections,
Responsible for verifying th correct methods, techniques, and procedures are used and th work is in accordance with Government publicions and specificions.
Ensures th Government property is controlled and properly maintained.
Reviews work order requests and inspects for correctness and proper form to ensure completeness and audit capability.
Knowledge of and access to US Army aircraft stus reporting procedures and methods.
Knowledge of the Global Comb Support System -Army (GCSS-A), Unit Level Logistics System - Aviion(ULLS-A) and Aircraft Notebook (ACN) programs sufficient to determine if user needs can be met by the system programs and to identify deficiencies and problems.
Provides technical assistance on all UAS maintenance mters to UAS operors, UAS maintenance crews or contractor support personnel.
Performs Quality Assurance (QA) inspections and evaluions of unit or facility performed unmanned aircraft system maintenance and repair, in support of organizional, intermedie, and/or depot maintenance on the UAS equipment set assigned to the unit or facility.
Inspects aircraft fuselage and airframes, landing gears, tires, power trains, drive trains, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, flight controls, rotor, transmission, instruments, armaments, and/or all systems required to make the aircraft a total mission capable system to include the launchers, Tactical Automic Landing System, Ground Control Stions, tactical vehicles, generors, environmental control units and all other ground support equipment reled to the UAS system.

This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the employing ste's Nional Guard. This is an Army Dual Stus Technician position which requires military membership in the Utah Army Nional Guard.

Must be able to transfer to the unit to remain compible in the position.

Irregular and/or overtime (compensory) hours may be required to support operional requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportion as approprie, to perform temporary duty assignments.
This position is designed as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparion for, or in response to, a ste emergency or disaster declarion. This designion will not exceed 14calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE :
Experience, educion, or training involving planning, developing, or administering quality assurance programs (i.e., supporting the development, acquisition, production, use, maintenance, storage, and supply of products concerned with the systemic prevention of defects and non-conformances, the identificion of unsisfactory trends and conditions, and the correction of factors which may contribute to defective items). Experience using computer and automion systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE :
1 year specialized experience equivalent to least GS-9. (Must provide SF 50 demonstring Occupional Series 1910 to valide)
OR
Must have experience involving a thorough knowledge of product or range of products involved, the manufacturing methods and techniques, special processes, test and performance requirements; and skill in developing plans and programs. Experience possessed by an expert in the area of specializion able to give technical direction to otherwise competent workers. Experience determining operions when difficult and questionable phases of malfunctions are found. Experience which required significant and concrete work accomplishments (i.e. special projects, working groups, or detailing assignments) involving interpersonal contacts in a quality assurance or reled field. Experience in dealing with management principles and supervisory responsibility for the function required by type of position to be filled and the organizion involved.

As a UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), GS-1910-11, you will:
Responsible for the integrion process to determine a new maintainer's proficiency and corresponding maintainer designion.
Oversees the initial integrion counseling event th includes but is not limited to the Aircrew Maintenance Training Program (AMTP), hangar oriention, local area oriention, basic expections, and TUASOF responsibilities.
Executes and manages the Commanders Aviion Maintenance Training Program and the Commanders Aviion and Standardizion Program for UAS Crewmembers.
Trains and evalues all UAS Air Crew Member (ACM) for the Crew Chief Training Program (CCTP).Responsible for progression, currency and sustainment of ACM's.
Develops Critical Task List (CTL) for Army Military Occupional Specialty (MOS) in supported units.
Ensures all tasks on the CTL's are up to de and in line with current equipment and Unit Mission Essential Task List (METL).
Serves as the primary AMTP trainer and evaluor for the TUASOF.
Acts as the advisor to unit Commanders on the management of the AMTP and maintenance level of unit members.
Trains and evalues crewmembers in the following areas Aircraft Notebook User Training, TAMMS-A,CPC Training, Compressed Gas Cylinder Training, Electrical Hazards, Environmental/Spill Response, AGSE.
Trains and Evalues basic aviion maintenance fundamentals, basic electronics training, and electronic and mechanical maintenance of UAS.
Directs on-the-job training and arranges for formal training of new employees or crewmembers.
Responsible for the safe execution of all MOS specific flight line operions necessary to meet mission requirements for the applicable UAS assigned to the TUASOF.
Responsible for all flight line operional support to include Site support coordinion, generor and vehicle fueling operions, site maintenance, work orders, runway lighting supplies, maintaining the crash kit, FOD prevention, runway maintenance and other support tasks as directed.
Ensures daily FOD (Foreign Object Debris) walk is conducted to clear large rocks, tools, and other debris th would cree a hazard to operions.
Ensures the unmanned aircraft is flight worthy and is current on maintenance servicing and inspections.
Operes light utility motor vehicles, up to two and a half ton, to transport self and others to worksites th are remote from the immedie shop facility, between installion airfields, or emergency repair sites when required.
Assists the Safety Officer with offsite emergency/recovery operions.
Responsible for the preparion and management of forms and records required to manage maintenance, control the use, and report warranty actions and deficiencies on UAS and associed ground support equipment.
Serves as the Primary Point of Contact for the notificion, reporting, and implemention of all Aviion and Ground Safety messages as they pertain to the assigned TUASOF equipment.
Responsible for providing accure maintenance requirement forecasts of upcoming inspections,
Responsible for verifying th correct methods, techniques, and procedures are used and th work is in accordance with Government publicions and specificions.
Ensures th Government property is controlled and properly maintained.
Reviews work order requests and inspects for correctness and proper form to ensure completeness and audit capability.
Knowledge of and access to US Army aircraft stus reporting procedures and methods.
Knowledge of the Global Comb Support System -Army (GCSS-A), Unit Level Logistics System - Aviion(ULLS-A) and Aircraft Notebook (ACN) programs sufficient to determine if user needs can be met by the system programs and to identify deficiencies and problems.
Provides technical assistance on all UAS maintenance mters to UAS operors, UAS maintenance crews or contractor support personnel.
Performs Quality Assurance (QA) inspections and evaluions of unit or facility performed unmanned aircraft system maintenance and repair, in support of organizional, intermedie, and/or depot maintenance on the UAS equipment set assigned to the unit or facility.
Inspects aircraft fuselage and airframes, landing gears, tires, power trains, drive trains, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, flight controls, rotor, transmission, instruments, armaments, and/or all systems required to make the aircraft a total mission capable system to include the launchers, Tactical Automic Landing System, Ground Control Stions, tactical vehicles, generors, environmental control units and all other ground support equipment reled to the UAS system.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS :
Compible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective de of placement .
This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the employing ste's Nional Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the Nional Guard must be eligible for immedie membership. This is an Army Dual Stus Technician position which requires military membership in the Utah Army Nional Guard.

Must be able to transfer to the unit to remain compible in the position.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the approprie security clearance of the position.

Irregular and/or overtime (compensory) hours may be required to support operional requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportion as approprie, to perform temporary duty assignments.
This position is designed as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparion for, or in response to, a ste emergency or disaster declarion. This designion will not exceed 14calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE :
Experience, educion, or training involving planning, developing, or administering quality assurance programs (i.e., supporting the development, acquisition, production, use, maintenance, storage, and supply of products concerned with the systemic prevention of defects and non-conformances, the identificion of unsisfactory trends and conditions, and the correction of factors which may contribute to defective items). Experience using computer and automion systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE :
1 year specialized experience equivalent to least GS-9. (Must provide SF 50 demonstring Occupional Series 1910 to valide)
OR
Must have experience involving a thorough knowledge of product or range of products involved, the manufacturing methods and techniques, special processes, test and performance requirements; and skill in developing plans and programs. Experience possessed by an expert in the area of specializion able to give technical direction to otherwise competent workers. Experience determining operions when difficult and questionable phases of malfunctions are found. Experience which required significant and concrete work accomplishments (i.e. special projects, working groups, or detailing assignments) involving interpersonal contacts in a quality assurance or reled field. Experience in dealing with management principles and supervisory responsibility for the function required by type of position to be filled and the organizion involved.
