Vehicle Maintenance Technician or a Master Diesel Mechanic

The City of Cody is accepting applications for a Vehicle Maintenance Technician or a Master Diesel Mechanic.

These positions are responsible for assisting with the repair and maintenance of City vehicles and equipment. Duties include diagnosing and repairing systems such as engines, exhaust, electrical, brakes, hydraulics, HVAC, and transmissions across a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment. Additional responsibilities include performing scheduled preventative maintenance, including checking and maintaining batteries, tires, lights, transmissions, exhaust systems, and brake systems. Employees in this role may also assist other departments with operational duties as assigned, which may include chip sealing, snow removal, and other public works tasks.

Master Diesel Technician must be a ASE Certified truck and auto master mechanic.

The starting wage range for this position is $23.01-$25.39 (DOE) and the City's full benefit package applies.
