Civil/Structural Designer (BIM/Revit Modeler)

At The Shaw Group, we design and deliver innovative industrial solutions through a collaborative, multidiscipline engineering approach. As a Civil & Structural Designer, you will play a critical role in developing 2D and 3D design deliverables that support modular steel structures, piping systems, electrical components, and equipment foundations.

What You'll Do

• Provide design guidance
• Define scope
• Respond to communications
• Maintain crossdiscipline coordination
• Perform selfchecks
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings
• Create material takeoffs
• Optimize designs for layout and transport.

What You'll Bring

• 10-15 years experience
• HS diploma or drafting certificate
• Advanced AutoCAD Advance Steel
• Plant 3D, Navisworks skills
• Knowledge of AISC/ASME/PIP/OSHA
• Proficiency with MS Office and PDF tools

Location & Travel

• Tyler, Texas
• Approximately 10% travel
