Solar Laborer Position Summary The Solar Laborer supports the installation of largescale solar projects by preparing job sites, assembling racking systems, handling materials, and assisting electricians and installers. This role requires continuous travel , starting in Bennett, Colorado , then moving to projects in Wyoming and Montana . Candidates must be dependable, physically capable, and fully committed to multistate field work. Key Responsibilities Site Preparation Clear, level, and organize work areas; unload materials; set up safety zones. Racking & Component Assembly Build and install groundmount or structural racking systems. Panel Installation Support Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing solar modules. Tool Operation Use hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely. Electrical Assistance Pull wire, run conduit, and support licensed electricians. Quality & Safety Follow OSHA standards, maintain clean work areas, and ensure components meet specifications. Travel Commitment Work at multiple job sites with required outofstate travel and extended stays. Compensation Bennett, Colorado (Month 1): $20/hr Wyoming & Montana (Month 2+): $38/hr + per diem for meals and lodging All travel is companydirected and mandatory Qualifications Construction or Labor Experience preferred Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather Familiarity with basic hand and power tools Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability Valid driver's license 100% willingness to travel for extended periods, including outofstate assignments Working Conditions Outdoor, physical work in varying weather Groundmount and elevated environments (no roofing tasks) Fastpaced construction sites with strict safety protocols Multiweek travel and per diemsupported stays in Wyoming/Montana Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bennett, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
