HVAC Install Technician Job Description This role focuses on installing HVAC ductwork, ventilation systems, and related mechanical components for new construction and remodel projects. You will work on-site at various project locations across NC and southern VA, using power and hand tools to complete high-quality mechanical installations according to plans and specifications, while traveling as needed between job sites. Shift Monday through Thursday from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some Friday work as needed. Expect to work 45-50 hours a week. Responsibilities Install HVAC ductwork, ventilation systems, and mechanical components for new construction and remodel projects. Assist with setting HVAC equipment, running duct, and completing mechanical installations according to project plans and specifications. Use power tools, hand tools, and measuring tools safely and accurately on a daily basis. Read and interpret tape measurements down to 1/16 of an inch to ensure precise installation. Interpret and work from blueprints and construction drawings to complete assigned tasks. Perform duct installation, including layout, cutting, fitting, and securing ductwork in accordance with project requirements. Support additional mechanical installation tasks and general construction activities as needed to keep projects on schedule. Follow all safety guidelines and site procedures while working in industrial and construction environments. Travel to and from project sites, including overnight travel when required, and reliably report to different locations as scheduled. Maintain and properly use your own power tools and basic hand tools for daily work. Why Work Here?
